Flip selection firealpaca6/17/2023 ![]() In firealpaca, if I did lasso tool> Transform selection, I could move the toggles on the sides of the scaling box to smoosh or stretch but the clip studio scaling tool only lets me scale proportionally. Also, some times I draw something, esp on my sketch layer, and I wanna smoosh or extend it.This feels like a lot of steps compared to Firealpaca, which had “flip selection horizontally” built right in. obtusity Fri, 01:24:58 GMT Works with a simple rectangular selection i.e. ![]() What I’ve had to do so far is Lasso tool>copy selection>Paste slection on new layer> flip layer horizontally>lasso tool new eye> drag it all th way back across the page. To flip a selected area, Layer menu > Rotate > Flip Horizontally. FireAlpaca is a powerful paint application, crammed with interesting functions and features.t a minimum, you can launch the program, choose a brush and start drawing. Now you can use the move tool to move the new layer around. This will cut and paste the selection to a new layer. I draw 1 very good eye! I want to copy that eye, flip it horizontally, and stick it on the other side of the face. The lasso painting (closed area) tool has been speeded up. Once you selected whatever part of the picture you want to move, press ctrl-x and then ctrl-v. Layer menu, Rotate, Flip Horizontally (or Vertically, if you are so inclined). So I’ve been learnign Clip Studio by trial and error and I like it pretty well so far, but there’s a couple features from Firealpaca I can’t seem to recreate. Duplicate the layer or select, copy and paste the part you want to flip.
